All City of Dunn Facilities will be closed for public access starting at 5:00pm on Friday, March 20th due to COVID-19. The safety of our staff and our citizens is very important to us. Although the buildings will be closed for public access, the City of Dunn staff will still be on site and working to provide support to our citizens at this time.
Even though facility access will be closed, our citizens are encouraged to call City Departments for assistance with services. You can find a list of each department and their phone numbers at www.cityofdunn.org/our-departments.asp. The City of Dunn is taking the COVID-19 situation very seriously. We are working with local City Officials as well as Harnett County on monitoring this virus. On Monday, March 16th, the City of Dunn declared A State of Emergency. We are monitoring COVID-19 closely and we recognize the concern of this virus spreading and the impact it could have on our community. The safety and well being of our community is and will always be our top priority. Declaring a State of Emergency is a precautionary measure we have taken to help with emergency mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery.

The City of Dunn has been actively monitoring the COVID-19 event. It is vital that everyone stay up to date on the latest information pertaining to this virus. Beginning Sunday March 1, 2020 the City of Dunn will be temporarily changing the current disinfection process of the potable water from the use of Chloramines to Free Chlorine. The City of Dunn will resume the Chloramination process on Wednesday April 1, 2020. This is an annual process. Click Here for the full public notice.
The Dunn City Council meets every second Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall, 401 East Broad Street.
All City of Dunn facilities will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
All City of Dunn offices will be closed on Friday April 10th in observance of Good Friday
